1. My mortgage payment is too high, what can I do?
If you can’t afford your mortgage payment, Chapter 13 provides a Loan Modification program that you can avail. We work with the Lender and try to make it more affordable for you.
It is a streamlined process where the Court oversees the program and there is a centralized place for all documents to be submitted and reviewed. You won’t get the run-around by the banks of missing documents, or resubmissions after resubmissions. The banks also have to give the decision in a limited time, typically 5 months or less.
